- Max adds Bleacher Report Sports as a free add-on package until February 2024.
- It now competes directly with the ESPN+ and Apple TV+ services.
Max, the well-known streaming service, expands its live sports catalog by adding Bleacher Report Sports to its free offer until March 2024.
The curious thing about this news is that Bleacher Report has a strong connection with Warner Bros since its acquisition by Turner Sports in 2012.
Free offer from October 5, 2023 to February 29, 2024
The change will occur on October 5 of this year, about a week after the launch of CNN Max on the Max platform.
Starting that date, Bleacher Report Sports will be available on Max, offering live sporting events. MLB, NHL, NBA, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and national American soccer competitions can be enjoyed in real time. In addition, programs such as “The Match” and “Inside the NBA” will be offered.
This additional package will be free until February 29, 2024, then it will cost $10 per month.
“We are thrilled to offer WBD’s incredible portfolio of premium live US sports… as part of B/R Sports Add-On’s wide range of engaging multi-sport content on Max. The largest collection of entertainment, news and now sports all in one place, making Max the most comprehensive streaming service for consumers.”
JB Perrette, CEO and President of Global Streaming and Games.
Now you can enjoy the MLB Division Series and National League Championship Series, more than five dozen regular-season NBA and NHL games, the inaugural 2023 NBA Season Tournament, the NHL Winter Classic and much more.

This reflects that Max is becoming the premier destination for sports fans of all kinds.
Max vs. the competition
With this addition of Bleacher Report Sports to its catalog free live until March 2024, Max puts itself in the same league as other live sports streaming services, such as ESPN+ and Apple TV+.
These competitors also offer a wide catalog of live sporting events.
Max is willing to compete on a level playing field and deliver the same or better high-quality sports streaming experience.
