Apple is still insisting in one camera only and screen notch for the cheapest iPhone on the market. Even middle-end phones for 200 dollars include triple camera settings and perforated camera. Maybe the Dynamic Island of iPhone 16 was too much, but the cheapest iPhone doesn’t include any solution at all.
The price is still too high
The iPhone 16e costs more than the latest iPhone SE. And for 700 dollars there are several Android phones with greater features such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 or the Google Pixel 9. After a long wait, the iPhone 16e doesn’t meet the expectations of the user. It’s a dated device and the design and camera is not interesting enough. The compatibility with Apple Intelligence is not enough for a 700 dollars device.
